FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Here are some common questions and answers to get you started. If you have specifics, please use the contact form below to reach out to us directly.

Does LOOK install the buildings?

  • We can provide labor on the Western Slope of Colorado
  • We have a Builder’s Network that we continue to grow with trusted builders to refer for your project
  • We can work with your builder

What makes a LOOK Building different than other pre-made structures?

Aside from sheathing not required and our tested results of 21%-240% stronger wall panels than conventional walls keep in mind that most ‘building kit’ competitors are not ready for you to complete the inside without having to essentially frame more on the exterior walls (adding studs). Our STURDI-LOK® walls are ready to finish. Contractors that have used our system confirm our buildings go up faster and are much stronger than many other types of pre-made buildings. Customization is of course key – you can add or change our systems easily and economically. Many pre-manufactured structures have packages that do not allow this type of flexibility – ours does!

Can I design my own LOOK Building?

Yes, many of our clients do. We have an in-house designer that will have helpful tips as you work together through the process and we will complete a full set of designs ready for permit or construction.

What does “Pre-Engineered” mean?

Our panels are ready to stamp by our 3rd party engineers, or your engineer. Since a majority of our buildings are custom, we use a wide variation of our panel configurations per your design. With that in mind and your specific location requirements, your building’s STURDI-LOK® wall panels will be ready to stamp upon design completion!

What about cost factors?

Cost is always a consideration, but so is durability and time. When you compare costs between the different building styles, ease and quickness of installation, strength and longevity, you’ll choose a LOOK building over any other. Keep in mind STURDI-LOK® wall panels are ready to finish without having to add more studs to attach your finishes to, and labor takes half of the time to install than conventional framing.
